INVITATION TO EXHIBITORS

The conference committee would like to extend an invitation to your company to be an exhibitor at the second annual GIS conference.

The organizers have dedicated times throughout the two day conference for exhibit viewing. The exhibit area will be featured during beverage breaks, conference social events and throughout each day. Please refer to the enclosed program for more information.

To participate , please complete and return the exhibitor's registration form. The exhibit fee will be $500. This fee includes 8’x8’ post and drape exhibit space, one 6’ table, two chairs, and one conference registration. Electric is available for $12.50 per day and internet access is available for $25. Spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional staff for your exhibit must be registered for the conference.

Set-up/Tear-down time:

Exhibits can be set-up beginning Wednesday, October 27 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or Thursday, October 28 from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. Exhibits can be removed after 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29.  

Payment:

Please make checks payable to " Penn State” or we accept major credit cards or company purchase order. You will receive a confirmation letter upon receipt of the registration form and payment.

Lodging:

A block of hotel rooms is reserved at The Penn Stater at the rate of $98/single and $108/double per night, plus applicable tax. Please make your overnight accommodations by calling the Penn Stater at 814-863-5000 or toll-free at 800-233-7505 and request a room from the RGI-1103 conference block. Cancellation/Refund:

The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course activity due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the 01-Dec-2004 13:28gistration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received before October 13, 2004. A $100 fee will be assessed for cancellations received after this date.

Conference Sponsorship or Program Advertisements

Opportunities for sponsorship of keynote speakers, breaks, receptions, and social events are still available. Advertising space will be available in the final program. Please contact Stewart Bruce at stew@psu.edu as soon as possible for more information about these opportunities.
