About Conference Registration

Registration for the GIS for Local Government Conference will be accepted by mail, fax, or online through October 13, 2004. The registration fee for October 28 and 29 is $175 per person. This fee covers registration, morning and afternoon break service and lunch. Registrations received after October 13 will be accessed a $35 late fee. A $100 fee will be assessed for conference cancellations received after October 13 or no-shows.

To register, return the completed registration form by fax or mail with payment by Wednesday, October 13, or register online at conferences.cas.psu.edu. Click on the Natural Resources category and select “GIS for Local Government Conference.” Under Registration Information, click on “register online” to complete the registration and credit card process on the secure e-commerce site. The Office of Conferences and Short Courses will send you a confirmation letter detailing specific program information. Walk-in registrations will be accepted only as space allows.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Full refunds will be made for cancellations received before October 13, 2004. Conference cancellations received after October 13th will be assessed an $100 fee to recoup administrative costs of registration, preparation of materials, and food guarantees. No refunds will be processed after October 13th for the preconference technical workshop.

The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If an event is canceled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
