As a member of the organizing committee for Geographic Information Systems for Local Government Conference to be held October 27-29, 2004 , I am contacting you seeking financial support of this program.
Join us in this opportunity to educate county commissioners, GIS users, planners, administrators, assessment and municipal officials in local governments on the benefits and relevance of geospatial applications. Your contribution will enable us to provide this educational experience and support the development of local land information systems. Please join our other sponsors: National Consortium for Rural Geospatial Innovations in America, Penn State ’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Cooperative Extension, and the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania. Attached is a tentative program to provide you with complete information about this conference.
We will provide the following acknowledgement to your company/organization for your support:
Bronze Level - $200
Your sponsorship will fund a table at the Thursday evening event and your company name will be placed on a placard at the table. Your company will have one complimentary seat at the table. You will be listed as a sponsor in the conference program.
Silver Level - $500
Your organization name will be listed on power point presentations that will run before and between sessions. You will also receive a quarter-page advertisement in the conference program plus a listing as a sponsor in the program and receive one free conference registration.
Your sponsorship will fund one free scholarship to the conference. You may select the sponsorship recipient as long as they come from a local government organization or you can defer this selection to the conference organizers.
Gold Level - $1,000
Your organization name along with your logo will be listed on power point presentations that will run before and between sessions. You will also receive a half-page advertisement in conference program plus a listing as a sponsor in the program and receive two free conference registrations.
Your sponsorship will fund two free scholarships to the conference. You may select the sponsorship recipient as long as they come from a local government organization or you can defer this selection to the conference organizers.
Platinum Level - $1,500
Your company poster will be posted outside a session room as the main sponsor for that session. There are only five session tracks so this will only go for the first five platinum level sponsors. You will receive a full-page advertisement in the conference program and a free exhibitors booth with two free conference registrations.
Your organization name along with your logo will be listed on power point presentations that will run before and between sessions.
Your sponsorship will fund three free scholarships to the conference. You may select the sponsorship recipient as long as they come from a local government organization or you can defer this selection to the conference organizers.
