North Carolina Demonstrates Successful Intergovernmental Collaboration Through NC OneMap
Presentation Abstract
NC OneMap proves to be a model for successful intergovernmental collaboration; rewarding elected officials, government leaders and the citizens of North Carolina. Sharing data from multiple communities and jurisdictions presents new opportunities to address regional issues and solve problems using NC OneMap, a comprehensive, statewide data resource and Internet mapping service. Counties and cities are capitalizing on their investments in geographic information using the Internet to help government leaders and citizens make better-informed decisions.
