Tools for Regional Emergency Response Collaboration
Presentation Abstract
Tools for Regional Collaboration; the PANYNJ Story Abstract: When an incident occurs, it is essential that responders have situational awareness and be able to securely share rapidly-changing information as the scenario unfolds. Viewing the elements dynamically on a shared map provides a common operational picture that enables multiple responding organizations to coordinate their efforts. The tools that support this response are equally effective coordinating daily operations where responsibilities and jurisdictions overlap. CH2M HILL will present the tools they are implementing at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a model for regional collaboration.
