Invitation To Exhibitors
The conference committee would like to extend an invitation to your company to be an exhibitor at the third annual GIS conference. The organizers have dedicated times throughout the two-day conference for exhibit viewing. The exhibit area will be featured during beverage breaks, conference social events and throughout each day.
To participate, please complete and return the exhibitor registration form. The exhibit fee is $575. This fee includes 8’x8’ post and drape exhibit space, one 6’ skirted table, two chairs, and one conference registration. If you would like an 8’x10’ exhibit space, the cost is an additional $15. Electric is available for $35 and internet access is also available for $35. Spaces will be assigned on a firstcome, first-served basis. Additional staff for your exhibit must be registered for the conference, so please complete the enclosed registration form for each additional exhibitor staff. Set-up/Tear-down time: Exhibits can be set-up beginning Sunday, October 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or Monday, October 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Exhibits must be removed by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18.
Payment:
Please make checks payable to "Penn State” or we accept major credit cards or a company purchase order. You will receive a confirmation letter upon receipt of the registration form(s) and payment.
Lodging:
A block of hotel rooms is reserved at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel at the rate of $98/single and $108/double per night, plus applicable tax. Please make overnight accommodations by calling the Penn Stater at 814- 863-5000 or toll-free at 800- 233-7505 and request a room from the GIS-1119 conference block. Cancellation/Refund:
The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course activity due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the conference is cancelled or postponed, the University will fully refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received before October 3, 2005. A $375 fee will be assessed for cancellations received after this date. We hope you can be a part of GIS 2005!
