GIS Conference Important Dates:
GIS Conference Dates: October 27-28, 2004
GIS Courses: October 25-26 (Free, on a first come, first serve basis, to those who register for the conference)
Tentative Conference Topics:
- GIS Management Issues: Funding, Implementation, Policy and Benefits;
- Utilization of GIS for County and Municipal Comprehensive Planning;
- Parcel Mapping and Land Information Systems;
- Criminal Justice Applications;
- 9-1-1 Readdressing and Emergency Management;
- E-Government Uses of Web Mapping and New Technologies.
Cancellation/Refund:
The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course activity due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the conference is canceled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received before October 13, 2004. A $100 fee will be assessed for cancellations received after this date.
